I didn't ask this on the plastics board because being a light weight is so different than someone that lost 200 plus lbs.    I have lost just over 100lbs and have a but that is not pretty!  Not that any but is.  Anyway I was wondering if I should wait for it to rearange itself.  I would like a lower body lift and the girls need to look up again.   I am going to be a year out in Nonember.  I am at goal and been there for about 3 months.  Thanks for an advice.

Well..... Let me see if I can help a little here....

I was 15 months out when I had my tummy tuck.  I had the vertical (anchor) cut and had reached my goal 5 months prior to that and maintained...

Now - I'm glad I got my tummy done.  There really wasn't anything that was going to change the flap of skin that was hanging, except to put fat back into it - which I wasn't willing to do.

I had considerd going to Mexico and getting the whole package done, TT, LBL, small thigh lift, boobs, etc.  I didn't end up doing that.  Now I still have the original legs, thighs and boobs.

I have gained about 3 lbs since my TT - which isn't a lot, BUT it has gone pretty much to my thighs/butt.  AND I do believe since the TT I've redistributed more...  In fact just this morning I was wondering if the "girls" had actually filled in a little.

I know its hard to wait - if there is one area you just can't live with and think you are going to get it done no matter what - then do it, otherwise I'd say wait until you are 18 months out and see how you've redistributed.

Now I'm kinda glad I waited for the rest.  I'm not as unhappy with the rest of my body as I was before...  doesn't mean I won't have more work done one day, but it isn't a sudden priority anymore.

Does that make sense?

I consulted with a plastic surgeon who specializes in high definition bodywork at 6 months post .  My body hasn't changed appreciably since then- if anything i have regained approximately ten-15 lbs.

There has been a bit of redistribution but nothing very noticeable or significant .

What I am having done is an arm lift , an underarm lift ( where the  excess skin under the arms is folded into the breast ) a possible breast lift  with no implants ( but  i really dont NEED this and probably wont spend the five thousand dollars to raise my nipples just a few inches - the breaststroke done regularly does EXCATLY THE SAME THING )

a lower body lift that will firm up the inner thighs and give my but extra definition and lift ( Brazilian but lift ) .  The excess skin is rolled around to become the upper part of the new buttock .   I am having liposuction around the waist ,upper waist , upper back area and love handles.

I hope to walk off the  table 15 lbs lighter and no longer burdened by the hormonal hunger overload of 100 plus pounds of empty fat cells.

I'm scheduled for a lower body lift/breast lift in October.  I have quite the wrinkly butt and hope to get most of this resolved.  I will be around 21 months out by then and no, the skin never did or will retract without intervention.

I'm glad I waited. Lots of stuff got smaller, which I hope translates into less $$ to get it fixed and my boobs went up a cup size.

I think waiting 6-12 months after you reach goal is a good idea. By then you'll know what really bugs you and what you can live with and it will have done a lot of redistribution too.
