Getting Back to Bad Habits?

I agree that each individual may have different abilities, different needs, and different instructions from their docs. That's what I love about this forum -- individuals are comfortable posting honestly without fear of outrageous criticism. Finding what works for you is the best thing you can do for yourself!

Interesting conversations.....Unfortunately, I am in the mist of my first "stall".  I have been losing/gaining the same three pounds for about 2 weeks.  I am trying NOT to get frustrated.....I have been on these boards for long enough to know that these stalls are part of the process.

I also know that I am eating between 400-600 calories a day and am fairly active (haven't started "working" out yet....I get clearance next week at my 6 week check up)  I KNOW I am taking in less than I am putting out! 

I have been sneaking in a few carbs here and there to boost my calories a bit ....mostly good carbs--a bit of fruit, carbs from milk, a whole grain cracker etc.   Unfortunately, I fill up super quick and it keeps my protein totals down so I'm gonna have to stop this until I can eat a little more.  

I HATE stressing about stalls....I know the weight will come off and my clothes ARE looser, people starting to notice, etc.  .......Gotta stay off the scale!!!

 I was stalled for five weeks, so don't worry.  Increase your calories.  They are SOOOOO low!  You can't function with 400 calories a day

 its natural to want to taste a bit of everything after surgery .  We ARE  hungry particularly when our bodies are losing weight and we CAN eat a bite here and there without gaining .   

Im not sure about the redeveloping bad habits part .  

I knwo when i started going to all- U can eat buffets ( whic were my downfall for many years leading up to WLS ) I stalled and GAINED .  I may have screwed up my permanent setpoint because of my indulgence .  

Right now im having a devil of a time getting my body down to where it needs to live permanently in order for me to work .
