I think it depends more on your age and whether you exercise than on how much you lose.  I am 57 and I have a ton of loose skin, but the younger you are it seems the less loose skin there is.   I look pretty darn good in my size 2's and besides my DH and my DD's no one would ever guess.

My legs and rear end look pretty bad, but I'm 56.  In clothes you could never tell so I doubt I will have any type of surgery to fix any of it.

I have some, but would rather have it then all the fat that use to be there. I feel comfortable, and wear tank tops all the time. Even with the skin that I have under my arms. I think for me, be thin is better than what the skin looks like!

I think I carried the bulk of my 249 pounds in my arms.  I wish I wasn't such a wussy because I think I'm going to need some serious arm intervention and while the doc is there, maybe the girls could finally head to their rightful place on my chest!

I was going to ask the almost the same thing.  I am at goal, lost 106lbs and I am 43.  I have a lot of skin on my but!  Lots!  I was wondering if it settles in or not.  My belly, arms and thighs are not the best but livable.  Was wondering about plastics or if I should wait.

Lots of variables...for me I started redistributing after about a year and a half post-op. Some things bounced back pretty well -- the turkey neck, the elephant ear flaps where my butt and upper thighs used to be, and arms. The girls are pretty hopeless though. I was 52 at the time of WLS and wasn't obese for more than 3 years.

I have pretty bad skin on my upper thighs and my belly. Also, the "girls" hang down to my lap when not wearing a bra. I am going to wait to see what happens and see if plastics are in the budget in a year or so.

I am 48 and have lost 100 lbs.  Although not perfect, I wouldn't consider PS.  I am ashamed to admit this, but I really don't exercise either.  September!   Parts are kind of soggy, a little dimply and soft, but no real panni or hanging skin luckily.  My butt is probably the worst.  I think my bewbies have actually lifted a little in the last few weeks.  I'm almost 5'8" so that might help?
