My Mom is having a biopsy this morning on her thyroid so I really don't have a menu to post.  My mom gets extremely worked up so they are sedating her so my day is going to be filled taking care of her.  She hallucinates really bad when she is sedated...Please Pray that I have Patients....it's been a long week emotionally for me.

Writing everything down has helped me so much!!! I would really like to see some more posters.  Seeing what is working for others helps the rest of us put some variety in our meals.

You need a break Roz! Hopefully things will calm down and you will be able to have a relaxing weekend. I'm busy again today dealing with more school stuff, then the visitation/funeral for my aunt. I'll stay on track though.

B: 1scoop GNC Wheybolic w/coffee
S: 1scoop GNC Wheybolic w/water
L: 2oz scallops
S: Carbmaster yogurt
D: Turkey meatloaf (I need to post the recipe...it is sooo good)

Exercise: 45 minutes treadmill, 30 minutes weights/floor

Here's the recipe:

1 pound lean ground turkey (or beef)
2 egg whites
1 slice toasted low carb bread, crushed into crumbs (I use Healthy Life)
1/3 C low fat or fat free italian dressing
3 tbs zero calorie, zero sugar BBQ sauce (I use Walden Farms)

Mix all ingredients, spray a loaf pan with zero calorie spray, bake at 350 till done (a little less than an hour)

If sliced into 6 equal slices here's the facts:
Cal: 136
Fat: 6.5
Carb: 4
Sug: 3
Prot: 16.2

Morning Roz & LW's!  Roz, I am so sorry for all you are dealing with right now. You sound like an awesome Mom, Daughter & Grandma, and such a good hearted woman. Your family is very lucky for that.   Today is my Friday, I have tomorrow and Monday off for an extra, extra long weekend (daycare is closed). Tonight I am meeting a few woman from my WLS support group for coffee, we decided to make it a monthly “coffee chat", since we all have such a great time together, so I am looking forward to that.

Hi Roz - I'm so sorry you're having to go through all this stress.  God doesn't give you what he doesn't think you can't handle....

B - 2 protein coffees, a regular one
S - cashews
L - 3/4 hamburg patty w/cheese and sour cream (didn't have any salsa to moisten it with)
S - atkins bar
S - fresh tomato
D - Ooooo - fried up some green tomatos and zucchini - yum.  Then I sauteed the rest of the zucchini, green beans and mushrooms - with bunch of seasonings.  That will be my lunch tomorrow. 

Vits: - yes got them in this morning
Water:  doing pretty good
Miles - if the weather holds I'm going to do another 3 mile walk.  Sore today...
