Bra troubles
To celebrate my last day of summer I got a pedicure! My daughter and I went shopping. Peebles was having a sale. We found some shoes. I found 2 shirts for school. I also found some Capris I liked but they were too long. My daughter said they looked like they were pants that were too short instead of capri's. I took back some bras that I got the other day. I can not seem to find a bra that fits these half muffins that I seem to have now. My boobs have gotten so small that I may have to go to an A cup because I half way fill up an B cup. They look like muffins that somebody slammed the oven door on. I am used to full coverage bra's guess I am going to have to change my mind frame. I took the ones I got back but didn't have the energy to shop for more. I want a bra that is comfortable! I want the straps to stay in place and stay up and I want my pitiful muffins to look good. My daughter tells me I need to pump them things up. She says bless your heart Mommy. I said Callie I can not help it. She says I know but those things are pitiful. She said Mom if you didn't have nipples you wouldn't even need a bra. I just laughed. Guess it's better than crying. I took her shopping for bras the other day. 34D thank you very much! She is adorable. I used to be a C. Never will see that again!
Does anybody have a bra that they just LOVE??? Am I the only one with flat muffins????

When Jody was here last year we went to Nordstrom's and got fitted. The ladies there are professionally trained and have probably seen it all from negative numbers to super-sized. Give them a try.

I have been having major bra trouble! It all started when I bought two full price bras at Lane Bryant before surgery, and I have been shrinking so fast I can't keep a bra that fits. Most of the time I just have one fitting bra that I wash and wash, and just wear the baggy ones around the house. I started out at a 42DDD, now I am a 34D(and a half lol). 34DD is too big, in 34D I get a little muffin top hangover. It's ok because they are comfortable and cost ten bucks at wal-mart, and most of my shirts are so baggy you can't tell anyway! I found the way to measure online after this lady was on Oprah.
Measure around your back and on top of your chest, not underneath where the bra band goes, but above your boobs. This is your band size.
With a bra on, measure around your back and your bust, don't pull too tight, but don't have slack in the tape measure.
Subtract the difference 1"=A, 2"=B, 3"C, etc.

Go to Nordstroms and try the Wacol bras. They seem to work with excess skin better than a lot of other brands.

Personally the cotton lycra underwire bras i prefer come from ..believe it or not WALMART .
I used to love their Jockey plain cotton underwire bras tilli shrunk out of the available sizes ( they seem very prejudiced against women with a 34 or 32 back size ) . Those come in many colors , are almost all cotton , and cost around 12 bux when not on sale .
The great advantage is that they fit real well around the excess flesh underarm area where most of us have issues and look smooth and great under sweaters . They lift the girls up and out in a very flattering way as well.
I went down a cup size myself ... from a C to a B .... dont be afraid totry neighboring sizes in these .... a 34 C is exactly the same bra as a 36B for instance ....
Now i have been forced to switch to the walmart nursing bras ( underwire again) for 14 dollars . The lycra is quite a bit stronger , so a 34 ( their samllest size ?!!! ) can fit like a 32 when its new .
I will buy a 34 B or 32 C if I can get it - again they are the same bra .
Walmart also has a miracle bra imitation in lacy netting with a little pad. U MIGHT want to try that on . I bought two just to wear while going out or under sheer shirts .... and they make my boobies look like Anna Nicole Smiths lol . Frankly I havent actually worn them OUT yet .... but again they way they are made is very forgiving to the underarm area and very FLATTERING to the chest without being totally obvious. My only criticism is theyre not very SUPPORTIVE bras .... but then again maybe theyre meant to show off a litle bounce action .. who knows .
Walmart also has very flattering juniors bikini sets in bright colored cotton. Those bras are quite good and a bit padded ..but not enough to be obvious . I dont like that much boob myslef but it might work forU perfectly - and the sets ( being designed for teenagers ) are like 7 dollars !!! If U can stomach the silly prints of frogs and such these might be the ideal solution supplemented with some thongs ( which are also great from walmart ) ......

When in doubt I always go to Macys and get fitted. They are also trained and know their stuff. Any high end dept store will be.
I LOVE Olga bra's. I was still wearing my old 40D when I went about a month ago to find new bra's. I laughed when she said I was a 36D instead. My boobs are deflated and I thnk I am now a C cup and inbewteen a 34-36. It is so important to get measured by a professional.
