It's been a long day of waiting and worrying!
I had a protein bar this afternoon and at 9:30 this evening I had my first Protein drink. I'm finishing this long day with some Raisen Bran with extra raisens. I'm just to tired to fix anything else. I'll probably be starving tomorrow morning.
This has been one of the most stressful days that I have had to live through in a very long time. After hours and hours of waiting and worrying we finally saw our unborn grandchild's heartbeat on a sonar scan.
As I posted on M&M this morning, by DD who is almost 4 months pregnant had been bleeding over the weekend. i never found out until last night because she didn't want to worry us. The Doctor wasn't in today so we spent hours at the Emergency Room. First the exam which showed a lot of drainage, then waiting for someone to come down from the maternity ward who examined her again and then tried to find the heart beat. She tried and tried and couldn't find it. My daughter was in a complete panic and although I tried to keep myself together there is nothing worse than seeing your own baby girl in tears and shaking so hard her teeth were rattling. We waited another long period of time before they could get her into the sonar schedule, but it was worth the many hours we had to wait just to see that heart beat and to watch the baby doing flips. They said the sack has the right amount of fluid so they weren't sure what all the drainage is from. Then it took them several more hours to read the sonar and come and talk to us.
They said her placenta is low and sometimes that causes bleeding but it should adjust itself about the 20th week and tomorrow she has to contact the doctor to see what the cultures say. They are hoping it is just an infection and medication will take care of it.
Night All! Talk to you tomorrow!!!

Thanks for the update - I've been wondering and worrying. I can only imagine how my daughter would have reacted (the same way I'm sure). She cried during her first visit when she heard the heartbeat.
