Bag of bones
I bought 2 size medium swim suits last month to go to Vegas, put them on Friday and they are way too big. I looked at myself in the mirror and I look like a bag of bones. I'm sad.
I've been doing a lot of running although I haven't been in the gym at all in the last month. If I start doing weight training will it help to fill in the bag?
I'm ready to call the doc and ask what to do.
Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy I did the surgery and I'm still not at my second goal weight of 110, but I don't know what to do.
Any suggestions?

Believe it or not, what you have left will begin to redistribute. I had very small thighs, and lo and behold, some of my remaining fat has migrated south to them. My weight has pretty much stabilized, and have gained 3-4 lbs... but know if I take off 3-4 lbs, it won't necessarily come off that spot.
Keep exercising - that will definitely help - but DON'T get into bad eating habits thinking it will help. Especially if you haven't hit your 2nd goal weight (and is that a realistic number?)
Are you still losing?

I am losing about a pound every two to three weeks, much slower than before. My first goal was 120 and I put my second goal at 110, based on my build, height, etc. I am currently at 114.
My family is all for eating more carbs, slowing things down... of course they are! They don't understand how this works. It doesn't just "magically" stay off.
I'm happy to hear it will slowly redistribute.
Thanks Jody

From what I've read, lots of people go through what you're struggling with right now. Losing weight, especially a lot of weight very quickly, will leave you looking and feeling a little thin, bony and possibly even sickly. Listen to Jody! The weight may redistribute and your body needs a little time to adjust and be healthy at a new weight.
I had a lot of people comment how good I look this year. They thought I looked way to skinny and sick last summer. I'm thinner now than last summer. After a year out, the remaining fat moves around. My trouble spot was always my waist. Even after PS, the remaining fat wants to re-distribute to my waist. Keep on doing what you've been doing. Your body will do the rest. Lin
My boobs got bigger! (Although, to be honest, I'm not actually happy about that.)
And, yes, strength training does help. I need to do stuff for my upper body or I end up with chicken wings for a chest.
