Fitness Challenge - August 16th
Hi Lee
I do have a Wii Fit and use it off and on. I like the balance games and the step arobics and can do some of the yoga. It will definately cause a sweat if you work at it. I have done some of the sport stuff but usually I just do the Fit. Actually, that is what I am planning today if I can get hubby off the TV.

Ok I know I'm a little late posting :) haha
I went jogging last night (been doing 3-4 days per week) this week we're up to 6 min joggin, 1 min walking and we went 4 rounds...not sure how many miles it is, I think it's around 3 or so but I don't have one of thos GPS watches to tell me. Getting ready to do another 5K in a few weeks. Last Thursday when I did my run, I ran 20 minutes straight, so not too bad, just have to pace myself!
You are doing fantastic! I need to do something for my abs and arms...definitely where I've got skin and the majority of my weight left!

THis weekend i walked both days ( one about 3 miles one about 6 ) and swam once on Monday as well as walked .
We also inspected the new house, carriage house , pool house , extensive crawlspaces etc which was a serious workout in itself ( with 100 page !!!! report to prove it )
I need to get back into my early postsurgery mentality when i was SO HAPPY to get up n RUN every single day ... its a priviledge not a chore ....

Ava, good job on getting in the walking. Don't let that new house distract you from getting in the exercise that your body needs and craves. From reading your posts, you really do better when you're out there moving your body, whether it's walking, running or blading. How can you allow yourself to be happy to run again?
