Most of us here started this journey between 35ish BMI and under 45ish BMI. My doc called me a lightweight and when I came to OH I found a lightweight board. Welcome!

When I was in the Navy a lightweight was when you couldn't hold your liquor! But I have a feeling your not talking about that! ....lol....... No seriously you qualify , and this is the gentle forum for those who don't like drama.

Geez almost forgot WELCOME, welcome ,welcome........welcome to the LW board!

Yeap, welcome to the LW board and it looks like you are coming up on your surgery as well. (HINT, Gina)

Gina is the keeper of the LW surgery list.

You will enjoy this board, no drama, we have each other's back, keep each other in line but we're family here.

Hi, I am a newbie here, too.  When I had my first surgery my BMI was 40.  For my revision my BMI was about 38.  I hope to lose around 100 lbs.  I am just over 3 weeks post op from an open RNY.  My incision is pretty healed and I'm not feeling too bad.  A little tired but getting better.  I had to take the trash out today and that really wiped me out.  I am eating solids now, just protein and was doing good but yesterday I threw up twice.  Once after taking my vits and the second time after eating some beef.  Meat seems to make me nauseaus but usually it passes quickly.  If it happens again I may stop eating it for a while.  I am getting my protein in with food but I have a protein drink daily, too.  Hardly any carbs at this point since I am concentrating on protein at the moment.
Good to meet you all.
