Hello LW's
I feel better today. Still twinges of pain and I think i'm slightly dehydrated and constipated as a result of that...If I take a look back over the last few weeks, um, drinking fluids I wasn't good at doing that. So, I took some milk of magnesia and drank some smartplum juice and lots of water. So...feeling a little bit better but not back to normal. I still have scheduled an appt with the surgeon's to follow up on the pain under the sternum. Not sure what that's all about but I got way off track here...sorry
So the menu is still not structured but hey...gotta be easy on the pouch here
b - protein shake (35g & 170 cal)
s - ostrich stick (14g & 80 cal) and cheese stick (8g & 60 cal)
l - ??
s - ??
d - ??
the rest is a mystery....lol
Have a great day everyone! Make the 13th a groovy cool day :)

Hoping you start feeling a lot better soon and get back on track. As long as you stick with protein and don't stray back to carbs you'll be ok.

Hi Roz. Had a strange day. Got up, had a cup of coffee, was sitting here on the couch (had the day off) deciding what to do. The weather was gorgeous and I said "lets not waste it" - so, I hopped on the motorcycle and rode up to Mackinaw City - which is 2 hours away. Had a nice lunch, then came back the scenic route. Eating wasn't so good... fluids way down.
B - regular coffee
L - a pastie (meat inside a pastry shell) - ate just the meat with some gravy and part of a small salad
S - McD's SF iced coffee
D - some chips, a couple blueberries, a beer, a bacon/tomato/cheese sandwich on wheat bread and a piece of corn on the cob - can you say "TOO FULL AND YUCKY?"
Vits - none - not too late though to get most of them in.
water - way down...
