I thought I was gonna DIE Tuesday
I've tried that before here...they aren't as easy here as my doctors in my previous locations. It's one reason I changed pcp's here already. I was trying to get my celebrex filled and couldn't get the pcp approval. It never went thru. We screwed around for over three months with that particular pcp. I finally said the hell with him and found a new one. By then, I had also moved to a Medicare Advantage plan that didn't require a pcp approval.
My medicare policy doesn't require the pcp approval but does have the donut hole. My husband's policy requires the approval...it's a damned if you do and damned if you don't situation.
Today is the best I've been since Monday. So I am getting better.

Can you use a cheap muscle relaxer in the meantime? I use the generic form of Robinax and it really kills the spasms.

I hadn't even thought of that...but you would think with as many other pain meds as I take, it wouldn't affect me. I already take topamax, ultram, and amytriptyline daily. Thanks for the idea. Liz
