Wow... I had to take a break from the lap-band forum, and come back HOME!!!  Everyone said that the lightweight forum is the coolest/sweetest/most understanding forum, and I am a TRUE BELIEVER NOW!!!  It was not a post of mine, but they literally tore someone up for asking HOW MANY FILLS SHOULD SHE SHOULD HAVE FOR BEING 4 years out, AND CONCERNED BECAUSE SHE HAD GOTTEN 64 FILLS... and you could only believe the responses, some calling her crazy, just wanting attention, etc....  it scared me away, I AM SENSITIVE!!!   Thanks for being here for me... I am still waiting on APPROVAL from insurance for WLS... and I just cant fathom that drama!!  THANKS MY LIGHTWEIGHTS FAMILY!!!!

You know this forum will always welcome you.
It just makes me sad to hear people actually act this way.
Such is life I guess.

Welcome back home!  I agree - this is the best board on the forum.  It is where I go to first when I have a question.  No one ever throws a judgmental harsh reply your way - just understanding, good advice, encouragement and support.  Isn't that why we are here for each other, after all?

No drama for the lightweights!

Isn't it great to have a safe haven to run to?  I go to a few boards, but if the drama heats up, I go away.... I'm like you - no need or want for it.  And I don't participate in it.

Some of the other boards are insane. I go read sometimes on the sleeve board, and very rarely answer a question if I truly feel like I have something to contribute, but I never ever post a question anywhere but here.

Thanks so much! I feel better than I have my whole adult life. I will turn 30 in December and it's been pretty hard on me, but now I can say I am healthier...and better looking than I ever have been.

Stick around here babeeeeeeee. This is home for me too. I lurke other boards just for curiosity, and I rarely participate because of the drama. Once I posted a question on the men's forum on behalf of my DH and I was directly invited to get out of there. It's ugly, but it happens. People can be territorial and worse "know-it-all" in these boards.

You should probably still lurke the lap-band boards for particular info on your surgery. Even though they might have more drama you can still benefit from some of the information available there. Just don't post much, and you'll probably be safe.
