It's the Protein that scares me.  It should never be under 60 and if you are trying to get it all through food it should be around 80 because our bodies don't absorb it all.   It won't be long until your hair starts falling out and increasing your protein should help a little with that.

Try to find low carb bread or at least whole wheat or all grain.   I like the Arnold thin rounds, but I limit it to a couple of times a week.

Day 4 of Optifast so 5 shakes, 1 soup, and dinner which will be tuna with pickles and celery, on tomatoes and spinach.  Blueberries for my fruit. 

Miles: Went to Curves this morning.  I have lost 1.5lbs since starting the optifast and 8" since June 1.  I'm a happy camper.

That's great that you are taking your measurments.  It really helps after WLS when you are in a stall.  That's when we seem to lose the most inches.

actually, they do it monthly at Curves if you want them to.  That is easier for me than doing it myself.

Here's to my first post from the loser's bench!

B 1/4cup greek yogurt  7g
S 8 oz skim milk 8g
L 1/4 c tuna salad 13g
S 4oz jello with unjury 9g
S isopure plus 15g
D 3 tbsp refried beans with cheese


Vitamins 2 batches done, 2 to go.
Walked one mile today.
Water 20 oz so far.

Glad to see you posting!!  Do you post on fitday.com or dailyplate.com?   It's good to keep track of your totals until you reach goal because it will help you when you start maintaining.

Thanks Roz,

I have to make a conscious effort to eat different things as I'm prone to eating the same thing day after day until I'm sick of it!  LOL

I avoided carbs like the plague for the first few months but I've found that adding complex carbs is speeding up the weight loss for me.  I try to stay under 80 g per day, yesterday was a bit high because of the grapes.

They only carbs I really worry about are bread, pasta, rice, potatoes.  I don't think much about the other ones.
