I was thinking about the Lemon Tea.  1.5 scoops is on the strong side for me so 2 would probably gross me out.

What flavors are you going to buy?  I'm getting really low so I'm going to have to order some this week too.

RNY on 10/21/08 with
Fuzzy Navel, red grapefruit and chocolate - all the Nectars.  I liked the Strawberry Kiwi too, but not really well enough to order a big jub again.  I really like the Nectar chocolate - I think its very smooth mixing, and it doesn't have nearly as bad of an "after smell" (meaning when it sits in my coffee cup all day it doesn't gag me as bad when I go to wash the cup).

I have been putting 2 scoops in my shaker bottle - just always have, maybe it IS too strong... I'll try a little less.

Awe...I hope you feel better later.  Shakes probably feel good on a sore throat.  Homemade chicken soup sounds good too.

Hey Roz! same "ol morning as usual.....vitamins and a shake did add a few almonds ...more like 12 almonds to the tummy. hot as heck outside and i have a doctors appt. today. i know i ate nuggets and fries yesterday but in tiny portions and my DS is forgiving of that.Seems its mainly breads that give me fits. The fresh tomatoes I have been eating also give me some extra acid that can be uncomfortable. but i cant help myself I love tomatoes! gonna make some tomato cucumber salad in a bit. might eat on the road for lunch. see ya in a bit...........

Hey guys, I had a piece of pizza and a salad for lunch....having such a small stomach makes even that a lot and I didn't even eat the crust which I love but doesn't love me back anymore! Got home and made Tacos and the cucumber/tomato salad and cut up cantaloupe for supper later. My son was getting off to work so I
started supper and sent him off with some, we will eat later. Its
about 3:15 so I will catch ya all later........ 7:20....... I have been washing and waxing the car, gassed it up and came home and had tacos or taco as I had one. I drank a big bottle of Gatorade so that curbed my appetite. Well might check in later ......take care.......

I enjoy tomatoes too, but before WLS they were a no no, so now I'm really enjoying them when I have a sandwich.

Sometimes I regret not having the DS.  I didn't know anything about it until a few weeks before my surgery and then I would have had to switch doctors.

Hey Roz, I know what you mean I had been going to a doctor for lapband and he moved east to Duke I believe. So I had to start over and was going to support groups just to get a feel for what was in the WLS arena. Found that LB people were really disappointed and RNY had some issues but were generally doing well but when I got to the DSers I found them doing really well and were very happy with their surgery plus as a light weight it was more to do with co-morbidities and DS is the bomb for those. That said I was also covered fully by insurance and a lot of the time DS is not. Also I had open DS and it can be very complicated but I seem to be lucky as I had no problems at all. You have done very well so no-one can really say it wasn't right for you. We are what we are! You have a great day Roz!
