 Hello Exercise Peeps!

Sorry it's so late in the day.  I came home and fell into a chair to eat the dinner that my son made and didn't raise a finger until now.

I felt like my tush got kicked today.  Last walk of the day and I didn't think I'd make it home.

Here's my day:
Morning walk - 3 miles
Noon walk - 30 minutes
Evening walk - 3 miles

I'm just too pooped to hit the gym for weights.

What did you do today?

A  TON  and I mean a TON of exhausting , serious yardwork -  cleaning up , mowing and de vining 6 properties in Asbury Park .   I literally worked my buns off from 12 noon to 9 pm .

Then I ate a Chinese buffet .

This morning I didnt have e nough sense to stay off the scale after the soy sauce ... and Im so pissed that i find myslef at my heaviest in like six months though i ran twice this week and did all THAT  .  GRRRR.

My real weight is the weight U see now.... no  more games with da scale .   I kept it secret from MYSELF  for a reason ... its a discouraging number .   I have SO FAR to go and no real hope of ever getting and staying where i need to be.to work   ...

why did I IMAGINE  this endless go -round of diet drugs that dont work ( but that make U lose Ur MIND right away .....  ) and  running nowhere every single day just to be unhappy with my body would END  after I had my WLS ?!!!  YES I am REALLY REA:LY  frustrated , gosh darn it ........

Ava, I'm sorry you're so frustrated.   Big kudos for facing the reality of the scale.   Heck, I think we all bloat up after Chinese food so stay off the darn scale for a few days unless you need a reason to feel bad about yourself.  What the scale says is a fact, not a moral issue as you well know from OA.  Quit beating yourself up please.

Congrats on all the yardwork and running!!

The spa was great! Still have wrinkles though...lol   I got a walk in this morning before it got too hot. It's supposed to be 94 degrees today. So, with only 1 walk, I have 3,953 steps on the pedometer.

I worked 2 ponies yesterday and this morning am hitting Curves before a very busy day with clients and meetings.  My first day to weigh on real scales at Curves since starting the Optifast.  It will be interesting to see how it is going.  Also my first day of optifast with meetings and no way to do meals every 3 hrs.  I have a plan, now just to work it.

Hi Price,

The first step towards victory is having a plan, so you go!  Good luck with the Optifast and getting your food in with the meetings etc.

It's good that Curves is open early so you can fit that in today!

Hey Linda,

I think 30 minutes is terrific.  My WLS plan calls for 30 minutes of movement a day, so you've fit into my plan perfectly.  :)
