It's amazing what a difference a week can make!
Cant wait to take a shower with out that dang jp drain!
I can also start my pureed diet and my vitamins.
Had a great checkup today, and got something for this thrush that popped up a couple of days ago. Cant wait to get rid of that foul taste in my mouth.
So the question of the day is what should I puree first?
I find it just comical. I dont know why. Feeling a little goofy I guess and thats without the pain meds!
Have a great friday all!

Hi Maria,
I didn't have any drains, but I'm sure they would be very aggravating.

I loved Wendy's chili pureed with a little greek yoguart.

I also liked egg salad pureed.  Lots of great choices. Good luck.

I guess I was lucky and didn't have to puree anything. My program calls it "soft phase". My first food was tuna...took too big of bite or didn't chew enough and got sick. Next I tried hard boiled egg white and did fine.

I was bad and never pureed anything.  I went straight from liquids to chili!  (I'm not saying I suggest it).  Glad you're doing well Girl!

Thanks for the ideas guys!
I never thought about egg salad.
I was a little worried about advancing, but I had 2 oz of yogurt  this morning and then for lunch I pureed some 1.5oz. chicken breast anda few slices of carrot out of the homemade broth my mom made me. Yum!
It looked weird like baby food but had good flavor.
Oh the possibilities are endless!

I loved low fat refried beans.  I was able to mix it with a little ground beef as I progressed.  You could add some taco seasoning if missing spicy.    I also pureed the frozen mango slices from dole.  That was really flavorful.  Lin

I love mango! That sounds so refreshing right now!
May have to give the refried beans a try too!

Thanks
