Welcome! This is such a great board. Not so many posts that you have to read through pages and pages. Also, the support here is like no other! How exciting to have a date!

Hi Kat
I'm new to this board also.  I have been following the sleeve board but now, due to insurance will be getting a RNY.  My date is soon also.  9-9-10.  I am 4'11.5" , 212, and 61.  I guess I am a light weight also.

Welcome! I used to be 4'11, but since losing weight, I am now 5'0". They said it happens sometimes when you take pressure off joints. So you may lose pounds and gain inches! Good luck in your journey. The lightweight board is the best on OH. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Never ever any drama.

I used to be 5'0" (when I stood up really straight) and that is exciting that I may get that inch back when I lose weight!!! It makes sense because after an auto accident last Fall I had some traction to stretch my neck because some of the discs had become compressed.  It stands to reason that others would be due to my growing weight over the past 26 years that I have been overweight. The pluses just keep adding up!!

Roz:  We do still have some cousins, etc. in and around Butler, I think.  Since it is my husband's family I am not as sure but if you request me as a friend maybe we can find some connections!
