MIA recently and popping back in with a question
Thank you all very much for the feedback. I believe you all touched a little bit upon what could be causing my ailments ~ AND I HAVE MISSED ALL OF YOU GUYS!!! The family issues surround my oldest son and some trouble he has gotten himself into. A momma's work is never done and why does it seem that the tests and trials intensified after he turned 18 which was only 2 months ago...jeesh.
I did not even think to think that the pouch would 'shrink' or tighten up...so, I guess I have set myself back a few stages...lol. That could be why I dropped 5 pounds in a week. Stress = plateau breaker...just kidding, I would not want anyone to go through stress to the point it affects us like this.
The acid reflux thing - I'll go get some OTC tummy stuff. I have not taken anything since 2 weeks after surgery. The fullness symptom - pouch shrinkage? I'll keep an eye on it. The grumbly and spasms for the pouch - um, I'll give a call to the surgeon's nurse or PA to see if they feel its worth checking out. I'll wait until Monday and if symptoms worsen or stay the same with all the suggestions, I'll go seek medical attention. I'm not that stubborn...lol
And for the vitamins and protein. Today was another 1/2 assed day so I was able to get in maybe 65g of protein and 1/2 my vitamins. Tomorrow I will try harder. The funny thing is that I am not even tempted to turn to comfort food or anything. I am the "nothing to eat" stress eater now. Before surgery...um, greasy fried food and/or sweets would have been consumed in mass quantity. I think you all would be proud of me handling the situation. I started to worry because the body obviously is not liking it ~ and to peak back in and get some luvs...
AGAIN, thank you thank you thank you. I'll PM if needed...mwah

Diana, I have missed you sooooooooo much! I'm glad you're checking in, even if it's not the happiest time for you. I'm sorry that your stress level is so high right now. Those darn kids do it to us faster than anything else. I hope your son straightens himself out.
As far as the pain, I'm a Sleeve sister, but I did have gallbladder pain last year that resulted in a gallbladder "coming out" party in November 2009. I had pain in my back and in my front. I waited about 8 months before going to the doctor. It was being on an airplane, feeling like I was having a heart attack last October that sent me to the doctor. The beauty of it was that at that appointment, my doctor told me that she thought I was the perfect candidate for WLS.
I'd have your gallbladder checked out as it's such a common side of WLS.
Sending hugs your way. PM anytime and know that I care.
