Walking, Walking, Walking
Walking they say is the key to breaking through the pain. I just got off 15 minutes on the treadmill. I think it is helping my pain level. The doctor said it is important in strengthening those stomach muscles. I actually slept in my own bed last night. Hubby propped up every pillow we had but I slept in my own bed. Didn't wake up hurting either. Got a shower this morning. Man it felt good. Wish I could keep from getting couch head... that seems impossible. Stomach is swollen. Hope that goes away. The doctor said he cleaned up a lot of adhessions while he was in there. Even though I am in pain I feel better in a lot of ways. Anybody else been through hernia repair?? Wondering when the swelling will go away?
OH, please let me post this time.....
I'm glad you're feeling better. Don't forget to rest and have DH wait on you hand and foot.

I don't know about the swelling. I didn't know that I had a hernia until I woke up from surgery. Apparently I did have one and the doc took care of it while doing my Sleeve. I don't know what swelling was from what. Sorry to not be of more help.
