Good morning! I'm super busy trying to figure out daycare, physicals, schedules, clothes, etc. for going back to work. It's been 2 years so it's like starting over again. And of course the job I interviewed for yesterday called back to offer me the job. When it rains it pours! I'm going for the one that pays more and has room for advancement. The other one is a temp-to hire. Here's the menu:

B: 1 scoop GNC wheybolic in 1.5C coffee
S: Carbmaster yogurt
L: Leftover grilled pork chop
S: 1 scoop GNC in 1.5C water
D: 2oz turkey breast
S: Celery w/ 2tbs PB2

Cal: 536, Fat: 12, Carb: 13, Prot: 92
Vitamins: Done, Water: 5 cups so far
Exercise: Ran 1.5 miles, Walked 1.5 miles, 20 minutes crunches, push-ups, etc.

I lost my job of 18 years when they closed a few years ago and then I stayed home and watched my grandbabies for a couple of years.  It was during that time I had my WLS.  It was sure a lot easier going back to work and meeting new people with all that extra weight off.

Good Morning Roz! I'm up and at'em S S S, vitamins are taken, and a protein shake.. went hog wild last night had some ice cream, cheetos, watermelon ended up full as a wood tick! Gots to get a grip!! oh I also tried some banana first since surgery. I see some old habits creeping in so I will work on that. i didnt have a lot of any of it .....well maybe a lot of watermelon.....but no use getting back in the habit. In the past i would'nt eat much during the day and then just eat and eat and eat! thanks for listening ,just trying to wrap my head around this. Take Care Friends, see ya later!

Confession is good...LOL.  Watermelon will be out of season in my neck of the woods soon, so I've been enjoying it too as well as strawberries and blueberries.   I've never been big on bananas.  I think of them as a lot of carbs, but according to articles that I've been reading,  the greener the skin the better they are for you.

Hello,

I ran out of the usual chocolate protein I've been using and found an old one I had, made a double shake with it last night and felt so nauseous...yuck!  I probably will throw that away b/c seems each time I use that brand I feel that way...so not worth it.

eats:

B: 1 cup Kashi GoLean Crunch Cereal w/ 1/2 cup 2% milk
S: celery stalk w/ 2 tbs peanut butter
L: Chicken Saltimbocca, mixed salad greens w/ creamy dressing, few strawberries
S: watermelon & 1/2 Pure Protein (Chocolate Peanut Butter) Bar
D: Tuna salad on romaine lettuce boats
LNS: Hoping my Click gets delivered, or it will be soy crisps probably

If all goes as planned:

Breakfast - 2 protein coffees (60g)
2nd Breakfast - Fage yogurt w/blueberries and another protein coffee (30g)
Elevenses - 2 Atkins bars
Luncheon - protein shake (30g)
Afternoon tea - Atkins bar or 2
Dinner - eating out at Swee****er Tavern
Supper - testing protein shakes

MILES: 3 - 15 minute walks so far

Hi Roz,
I'm with Jody - trying to use up some of my protein before ordering more.  I have Twisted Cherry I'm trying to finish off - it is so sweet tasting now.  I want some more Fuzzy Navel for my morning snack, but I need to finish this other first.  I love my Lemon Tea - it is my afternoon treat for myself and I crave it too - can't wait until it is time to drink it.  That sounds so strange!!
Here's the plan:
B:  1/2 cup Kashi Honey Oat Cereal, 1/4 cup Hood Milk
S:  Decaf Coffee with 1/2 scoop Protein
S:  Twisted Cherry Protein Drink
L:  Small Wendy's Chili with cheese(my treat to myself) - it is so great tasting since I havent' had this in a while

S:  1/2 cup watermelon
D:  Either Eggplant Lasagna-if it is still good or grilled chicken - some vegetable

It is wierd how we crave our Protein Drinks.  Someone started a post a few weeks ago about foods we fear, well I fear liquids that aren't protein.  When I drink crystal lite I feel like I'm doing something bad and the twisted cherry makes me feel that way.  I guess I'm just strange.

I love Wendy's chili.  Do you ask them for cheese or do you supply it yourself?

I ordered it with the cheese.  I usually get it without the cheese, but I thought I would give myself a treat today.  Then I couldn't eat it all.

I love crystal lite in my water.  I get the Lemon Tea now and drink it alot.  I do not like the Peach Tea.  I like the grape, but it is really hard to find here.  I very rarely drink plain water anymore.
