Lifting and bending after surgery

Wow!! That is too soon to be lifting 20 lbs multiple times/day.

btw, our stats are similar. How tall are you?

Well, I'm kind of going on the fact that I can mostly lift her with my arms, not belly, and when my husband had a hernia repair a few months ago he was told that live weight is much less strenuous than dead weight.  He had similar restrictions, but was told that lifting our daughter is fine.  Also, I've tended to be a quick healer after past surgeries (tonsils at 24 and c-section at 26) so I'm hoping this helps me as well.  There is not much else I can do since my husband (our sole income) can't take 6 weeks off of work just to put our daughter in her bed.  We'll play it by ear, but I'm hoping to feel pretty good by Monday!

I'm 5'0".
