NUTRITIONAL DEFICIENCY FOR RNYers INEVITABLE?

Does everyone with RNY eventually develop some sort of nutritional deficiency? I fear that because I am so young [just turned 20] that if I do have this procedure, I will one day have a nutritional deficiency, possibly multiple or major ones. If a person takes their vitamins and protein intake religiously and has their blood work annually, is the possibility of developing a deficiency still there?

Given the negativity of all your posts regarding wls. Maybe you should reconsider and go to Jenny Craig.  You don't seem to be researching the surgery options.  More like putting as much negative press as you can on the boards about WLS.  Just an opinion.  Good luck with whatever you do.

I've been posting negative things because thats what I am researching. I already know all the positives, right now I'm trying to get answers about the negatives. I don't need Jenny Craig, I've been there already but thanks for the suggestion.
