The good, the bad and the ugly
The good: I lost three pounds last week but I am still at 133. Let's see if I can get past that 131 low mark! I went to the doctor and she decided to discontinue my cholesterol meds.
The bad: My HbA1C test was terrible. It actually went up since last time, which surprised me. I am now on Byetta (non-insulin injectible) in addition to my oral meds. The up side is that one of the side effects of Byetta is weight loss. After a few days, it is already controlling by glucose levels better. Pam and I are going to join a gym in an effort to get a fitness program going.
The ugly: My plastic surgery consult. It never actually happened. I went to the center, checked in and waited for almost an hour without actually seeing anyone. I decided that was a really bad sign and left. No apologies or explanations were ever given.

I'm sorry to hear that your HbA1C wasn't where you and your Dr. want it to be. I was on Byetta before surgery and found that it was great at keeping my glucose levels in check. Good luck with that, I hope that you find it works well for you too.
I'm sorry to hear about your PS consult. Probably good that it happened now, instead of later. I'm sure you'll find someone who is competent and interested in your business.
