Can't wait to get a date...for surgery that is!

had 1st appt on 1/13/06. filed info with insurance. i cannot wait to get started!

Congratulations....I started my journey in November 2005...just a little advise to u. Make sure u know what the requirements are for your insurance to approve your surgery. I was denied on my first try.....then my insurance asked for additional information. I have supplied that waiting for the final answer. So the best thing I can say is don't give up. and keep posting this website will bring you through.

Tanya, I echo what Karen said! I began my journey in July of 2005 and I now have a surgery date of March 7th. I'm very excited. It seems like it takes forever to get through all of the stages, but then suddenly, you have a date! Keep up your great attitude and that will help tremendously. - Stephanie

How exciting! I just had my DS surgery in December. Not too long ago I was where you are, and now I'm down 57 lbs! Which surgery are you having? Please be sure to research that before jumping into anything! Best of luck! ~Amanda in ID
