new to the board

Hi ! Thought I would tell you a llittle about me, I am new to this board. I am married and have 3 children, ages 17, 5 and 3. We live in Noth Carolina and are a navy family. I am having WLS on October 10th. I am so excited and yet scared to have it done, but i know it is the best thing i can do for myself. I am looking forward to getting to know all of you. If anyone has any advise, i'm all ears!! Looks like most of you have already had suregery and are well on your way to the losing side - congratulations you are an inspiration to me take care Claudia

Thanks and congrats to you on your great weight loss thus far !! At over a year out now how has the surgerey inmpacted your life? have you had any problems? What protein supp's have you found that taste the best? any addvise is great !! Claudia
