Starting the process
I had my blood work, upper GI scan and respiratory tests today. Woo hoo!
That barium drink is like drinking latex paint--almost threw up considering how much they had me drink. Yuck!
Last week I met with the NUT, and she's awesome. I think she's going to be really great to work with.
Ahhh...it's so weird with all of this stuff going on--it's really happening! Can't wait to finish up my tests in the next couple of months...

CONGRATS ON GETTING YOUR LAB WORK DONE! YOU WILL GET THERE BELIEVE ME. I AM ALMOST TO MY SURGERY DATE! I HAVE WAITED FOR THIS FOR 7 YRS. THAT IS A LONG TIME TO WAIT. I AM ON DAY ONE OF FULL LIQUID DIET TO SHRINK THE LIVER. FOR THE PREVIOUS TWO WEEKS WAS ALLOWED ONE MEAL A DAY, BUT THAT IS WHAT MY NUT REQUIRED OF ME. SO GOOD LUCK AND KEEP US POSTED ON HOW YOU ARE DOING!
