I am 33 and new here as well.  I am about half way through the 3 month diet my insurance company requires before I submit my claim.  

How was the seminar?

I am having gastric bypass. I just found out today that I have to have have my gallbladder out before they do the surgery.

Hope you are doing well.

That isn't such bad news.  I had to have mine taken out after surgery, so you might as well do it before surgery.  Are you actually going to have two surgeries, or are they going to take it out at the same time?

They told me it has to be done in 2 surgeries. I could have sworn the surgeon said that he would do it at the same time, if it needed to come out. I called the office today and the nurse called me back after she talked to the doctor and he said he tries to do them seperately in case there is a problem after the surgery he can know which on is giving me problems.
I guess that makes sense... I just hope the insurance covers both.

Insurance should cover both.  They are being removed for two seperate reasons.
