Struggling in Hungary....

Hi everyone.  As the subject suggests, I am struggling here in Papa, Hungary.  I do not have a support system and I am feeling the frustration from the lack of support.  I am 7 1/2 months post-op and am just 5 lbs away from my goal.  My husband and I found out we were moving just 2 days after my surgery.  We moved just 45 days later.  The stress from the surgery and the international move has worn me down. 

Although I am happy with my weight loss, my family doctor in Budapest is telling me that I need to gain 5 kg (about 11 lbs).  I have been suffering from hypo-tension for the last month or so and my bp averages around 72 / 47.  All blood work comes back normal so the doctor thinks I lost too much weight (over 100 lbs), way too quickly.  I don't want to gain weight but I want to be healthy. 

WOW, that was a very fast weight loss. Perhaps your body just isn't ready to be at goal yet. I know it's hard to think of gaining weight after al that you have accomplished, but perhaps gaining a little for a few months to let your body adjust is something to try.

You lost the weight to be healthy, perhaps your body is telling you to slow down a bit.

Congrats on your success. And it would still be a success if you gained 11lbs for your health.

Hi Annette,

Whenever this website has been my constant grounding post even when I am traveling. I usually go to the Main forum, because I assume that is where most of the people go...I could be totally wrong, at any rate, people are pretty good about replying there (this is my very first post ever here, so Hi all!).

I've known at least 2 women, who were in similar situations that they had to gain weight and I met them through the main forum.
