Back on board-5 years out- need to lose some weight...HELP!!!
I haven't posted in YEARS! and it shows...I am 30 pounds heavier and quite perterbed about the whole mess. I need to get back on board and figure out how to eat again. I work out fiendishly, but this big ole gut and thighs just keeps sticking around. I know it's cuz of my poor food choices.
In December I will be 5 years out from open RNY. I was the "compliant client" according to my nutritionist, but I started snacking Spring '08. Went downhill from there. I need HELP! It's like I can't even remember what I'm supposed to do...or how I'm supposed to eat. The one thing I have done religiously every morning for years is to have a protein drink for breakfast. Other than that, I'm toast.
Can anyone help me get back on board with snack, lunch, and dinner ideas? I know I haven't stretched my pouch out much, because I still can't eat much meat/dense food at a sitting. That's probably one small reason why I started grazing.

Search for: the world according to eggface blog. She has tons of low carb, RNY meals for every phase. Also, most people don't like the fad part of it, but you may want to try to the five day pouch test to get yourself out of your old habbits and to break carb addition. I live on the lightweights board and there's a "miles and menus" post every day so you can see what people are eating.
Generally the advice for weight loss phase in that forum is 100 grams of protein, 60g or less of carbs, and 800-1000 calories. I exercise like crazy but I can't eat more than that and still lose weight.
