When I met with Dr. Alvarez I also wanted to get the band. But he discouraged me from it. He said the success rate isn't so great and if you have a lot to lose it takes a really long time. He recommended the rny for me. But remember every one is different. Research both procedures thoroughly so when you do meet with your dr. you will be educated.

WELCOME,I agree with Lily its a case by case. However studies show that the band is for people that has less to lose.
