We are the same age, I have lost 100.  I still have more to lose, start saving for plastics!  After a year from when you get done losing, what ever is still there is only going away with surgery.

If you are not familiar with ganny called "foundation garments" then you will be.  They may a product to tuck and suck most parts.  If you have a lot of fat in the arms that will be the biggest challenge, I am going to be wearing at least 3/4 sleves in central Texas this summer.....if that tells you how bad the skin is.

Even with all the flab.  I look and feel soooooo much better than I did last year at this time!

With any great amount of wl your gonna have some sagging skin. I have it the worse in my belly and thighs. I will take my saggy skin over what I looked like a year and half ago.

I just reached my 6 month mark.  I'm now 35.  I look fine with clothes on, especially with some undergarment assistance.  I think my belly almost looks normal... for someone who's not tiny.  my thighs are wrinkly and weird in a way they probably wouldn't look for another 40 years.  Same with my butt.  Fine in pants or shorts, bathing suit..not so pretty - i wear one anyway.

Same here.  The arms are the worst for me.  I jokingly call them "my wings" bc they flap, lol.  When I do kickboxing or exercise with alot of arm movement I get really tickled when I see them flapping in the wind.  I don't think the skin will shrink back but possibly it will deflate more as the fat inside the skin leaves.  When and if I have plastics the arms will be first.  The thighs are the next issue.  They used to be full of fat but as the fat leaves the inner thigh looks like a toddler -three rolls of fat.  With the exception of the arms everything else is treatable with clothes and undergarments.  I am embarrassed by my thighs but I rock the swim suit anyways, lol.  I do think over time though the thighs might be too embarrassing as the rest of me slims down.  Oh, and I do lotion everything up.  My doc recommended moisturizing bc if there is going to be any skin shrinking back it will need to be as happy and healthy as possible so don't forget your vitamins.

I am 8 months post op and 80lbs down and 70 to go

I am 32 and I have lost 100 lbs in 3 months..I will say that my tummy looks the grossest..I knew from the beginning that I would need a panectomy...My arms are jiggly..but thats partially cuz I dont excercise at all...I must lift weights soon!!!  My inner thighs might need some nipping and tucking before I am done.  I still have 120 more to lose.  The saggin skin is depressing but its way better than weighing 400 lbs....Even clothes cant cover up that!

I am 35 and am 10 1/2 months post op.  I am down 65 lbs and exercise most everyday with a trainer.  I do have some loose skin.  I do have more weight to loose and my PT knows this is an issue for me.  Everyone's skin is different.  I have seen some people on here loose a ton of weight and not have much of a skin issue at all.  We are all still young, I think we have a chance.

I delivered 6 weeks early a 5lb 15oz lil boy:)  After spending 2 months on bed rest in the hospital and Mason spending 11 days in the NICU, we're both home and doing great!  Mason is getting bigger and gaining weight like he should.  Now it's my turn to lose this weight!  It's tough to get back on the band wagon...I CAN do this!

I'll be 36 tomorrow.  Yikes!   The descriptions of your sagging skin had me laughing so hard (someone said theirs looked like a toddler with rolls).  Too funny!

The thought of sagging skin has been in the back of my mind but it would not prevent me from having surgery.

For those using lotions is there anything specific that works best to keep skin happy?

Without hiring a personal trainer or going to the gym are the any exercises I can do at home that might help?   Or is a personal trainer the best route?

Anyway, I've already  planned on saving for plastic surgery, however, I'm assuming that I'll be much more comfortable after I lose my weight even with my sagging skin.
