Hair loss

 Has anyone had any problems or suggestions about hair loss.  I have someone thin hair now and my hair dresser just put the fear into me that I will go bald.  EEK.

First of all, not everyone loses hair.  Some do early and others start anywhere from a few weeks to 4+ moonths out.

I have not seen anyone go bald.

I know many people, me included went for a shorter style in the exectancy of losing hair.  I have yet to lose a strand. 

Many hair dresser will advise you to go short if you do start thinning, because it will grow back and when it does, it will be short spikey pieces. 

YOU WILL NOT BE BALD.

Take Biotin Vitamins.  I take 1000mg pills 2x day, it says you can take it up to 5x day.  IT aids in hair growth.  I asked this same question a few weeks back and had lots of feedback from people and Biotin was mentioned many times.

It's actually been quite slow after the first full week home.  I think I have lost 4lbs int he last two weeks.  I have also found even when blenderized I can't eat beef or pork. YOW, was I sick especially after the beef.

That pic was from Easter Dinner last year with my children, mother and grandmother.

Hopefully your hair loss will be minimal if any at all, it varies I lost an incredible amount of hair. I used biotin and the Nioxin hair products and took zinc and still do two years out. I never went shorter but had extensions clip ons and ones that adhered. Do what you can to prevent, but be assured that it will come back. Good luck to you Emily!

Thank you! I am very happy and very grateful for my results. I did freak out lol it was hard not to as handfuls of hair came out but I did what I was supposed to with vitamins and protein, eventually it stopped and I was so happy with my weight loss that my hair loss as unhappy as I was with losing it I wasn't using it to hide behind any longer, I did find some great extensions early on and they saved me, cute hats, scarves etc.I feel great and my hard days are more emotional and relationship related my recovery from my bypass was a breeze, plastics is another story.
