My surgery is on Tuesday.....

Well, my surgery is on Tuesday and I don't know why but I'm not as nervous as I think I should be right now.  Anyone else having a surgery this next week?

  Congratulations on your success!!  I woke up this morning and am getting more and more excited.  I'm "nesting" I think....cleaning house, getting things done as if I were having a baby.  What a trip! 

I live NW of Houston in Hempstead, TX. I'm going to have my surgery with Dr. Garth Davis at The Methodist Hospital in the Houston Medical Center.  I'm having an RNY.

I know this is the right thing to do and I'm just giddy about how this next year will be.  It's gonna be a blast!!

     I'm having surgery this Thursday at Memorial Hermann in the Houston Med Center- about a block from Methodist. 

I'm doing the TOGA study, which is basically incisionless stapling of my stomach where the stapler is put down my throat.  I went to Dr. Garth's seminar and he was really cool.  I've also had a couple of friends stay at Methodist and the rooms are nice and comfy.

I'm getting through my all liquids week- one day at a time.

Whew! I thought i was crazy for cleaning and getting stuff ready!  I just want everything to be stressfree when I get home. 

 

I hear ya girl.  I want the same thing..no stress...I just want to relax and heal.  I haven't heard of the TOGA before.  Wow..what a trip.  Good luck girl. 

I am glad you said the rooms are nice because there is nothing like an ugly musty room ya know?

For some reason I'm hungrier than normal.....I think it's PMS week and anxiety.  Damn!!

Just a couple more days and a whole new chapter will begin.  Wow....I can't believe it.
