Hi Georgia Peach.  Congratulations on your decision to have wls.  I'm from Louisiana and am planning on having surgery in Jan if I get my money right (self-pay).  Have you already done your preop labs and evals?

Hi Apple638, my name is Sandra by the way. Yes, I have had all my labs done just have to meet with my pulmonologist for a clearance letter. Wow self pay, I was thinking about doing that because you don't have to go through the insurance standards to have the surgery approved. I hope goes well. Have you been the OBesity help.com seminar it was very helpful regarding self pay and even insurance. I hope they have another one here next year. It was so informative. So have you already received a date or is it that all you need is the money and you can actually schedule when you want it done? I am curious. :) Look forward to hearing from you.,
