ITS SOOO QUIET IN HERE!! HOWS EVERYONES JOURNEY GOING??? I WILL BE A YEAR OUT ON THE 24TH OF SEPT AND WOW I CANT BELIVE IT, I STILL HAVE MY ISSUES, BUT I HAVE COME A LONG WAY, STARTED AT 290 AND NOW IM WIEGHING IN AT 173!!!!AND WENT FROM A SIZE 20 TO A SIZE 8!!!! ALL I CAN SAY IS SURGERY WORKS!! ITS A GREAT TOOL WISH I WOULD HAVE DONE IT EARLIER..

Yes, there really isn't alot of activity here but I bookmarked this page and try and visit it like 3x week. Congratulations on your success!!!!! I'm still trying to get the surgery. My insurance has an exclusion clause and now I'm trying to get a loan which is sucking but I'm not giving up.

I'm doing pretty good. Having an emotional week for who knows what reason but I am moving and losing and getting in protien so all is well :)
One day at a time.
Start: 487 lbs (8/07) Lost 81 lbs pre op on South Beach. 406 lbs at surgery (6/08). 179 post op, by 2011. I lost 308 lbs. Gained 98 while pregnant (2012-13) lost all but 25. My goal is to be 179 again!
Two years after that....
I could not be happier.
I am trying not to be. This is the 1st time I will be hosptialize and have surgery. I know I need this but worried about things like blood clots and so forth. I want to be better but I know it has to come with a price. I can't wait until I come out of the 6xxx to size 10 0r 12. I am 5'7''. I don't want to be to small.
