introduction
Hi all,
I hang out on the main board and the Massachusetts board most of the time, but thought I should pop in here too.
I'm 34, unmarried - but cohabitating for the last year with the man i wasn't smart enough to even dream about.
I have been researching/planning my RNY since March of this year. I have to do a 6 month program for my insurance company before they will approve me, so I have two months left and then my surgeon will submit my stuff for approval.
I have been overweight my whole life, largely due to an eating disorder brought on by childhood trauma. I have been learning portion control and trying new foods and have lost about 16 lbs so far. I am desperately looking forward to reversing my diabetes since being put on insulin 18 months ago.
I've rambled enough... Just wanted to say hi and thank you in advance for your wisdom, support and inspiration!
