I am home

I am so happy to be at home.  My surgery went amazingly.  The only thing I could even complain about was nothing by mouth for 24 hours after sugery.

I am almost a week out and the only complications that I have had was some vomitting and dry heaves my second night out.  I was in the ER for intrav. fluids.  My doctor believes that my oral pain meds were a little too much for my new pouch and now I have pain killer through a little patch on my arm.  No nausea now.  I dont even mind the liquid diet, which I do get to supplement on Wed. with eggs, cottage cheese etc.

Oh an another thing, anyone who is a stomach sleeper should really try sleeping on their back for a while before surgery, because it makes for a restless night :(
