Hi everyone I am 31 and am looking into getting bariatric surgery done. I ahve a seminar to go to August 18th which is the first step of many.

I am 4 foot 11 and weight 316 so I am morbidly obessed this NEEDS to be done hope to make some friends.

Hi and welcome - this is an extremely quiet board.  Have you decided what type of surgery you want to have?  I am 5' tall on a good day and at my surgery date last month was 222.

Hi yes Laproscopic were they go in and remove part of your tummy that is the one I am leaning towards. I can wait to get out of this body and into a new one.

The VSG - that's good!  I hope that it works out for you - i think there is a VSG forum on OH, too!

Welcome to the quitest board I've seen thus far LOL Congrats on starting a life changing process! I started Apirl 2007 and I'm still in the process due to money problems. But I'll hopefully have a date soon. Keep us posted!
