32/m here scheduling my VSG

Well, I'm scheduling my VSG this week to have it within the next 3 months.  I've been looking into WLS for a few years now and chickened out on the RNY that insurance would've covered 3 years ago.  Kinda glad I did because I like the VSG option better now. I'll try and keep some updates as it gets closer to getting the surgery and all.  Dave

i was a chicken on the RNY...i am 3 months post op on vsg...i love it....i am 100 lbs lighter and i am managing it very well...i am very restricted...maybe 1 1/2 ounces...but i would not change a thing! good luck with your journey!

thank you! please keep me update! i would love to follow with you..this is an amazing tool...i treat my diet like the RNY...so i am guessing thats why i have done well...i have hit a lil stall...but its all good...i am lovin it...can't wait to see ya on the losers side  big hugs! Kim

After losing that much that fast, I'd be shocked if you didn't stall a bit. The body has to readjust itself. I'm sending a friend request so we can keep in touch. 3 weeks to go! Karin
