pbing???

Hi - I am new to all of this.  I meet with my surgeon next week.  I would really like the sleeve, but my insurance will pay for the band...so, that is what I am going to choose.  But......I have been reading posts on the boards and am not looking forward to puking!  I don't understand some of your terms though (I'm sure once I am post-op I will!).  Please help me! What is pbing?  and slime?

Jewell, sorry I do not know what PBing is either (but because I love food, I can only think PB and Peanut Butter, but that doesn't make sense in the context I've seen on OH either...LOL). Slime from what I know is what someone's vomit is like after RNY. That is how my friends post op explain it to me anyhow. Good luck!

pb stands for productive burb-basically you wretch and whatever was stuck comes up.  You know how your mouth get really watery before you throw up?  Well that's sliming and it's really gross.  This can all be avoided by taking really small bites and chewing till your food is mushy in your mouth  Hope this helps Crystal
