Hi - First post on the 30's board

My name is April White and I live in NC.  I have a RNY date of 12/20.  I have done a few posts and a lot of reading on some of the forms, but not been on this form yet.  I am 33 years old and just wanted to introduce myself.  Keep the useful information flowing.  I sure could use it.  I'm a little nervous as the day approaches.  I have two daughters who I love soooo much and a wonderful spouse.  I really want to know in my heart that this is the best decision for myself and all of us.  It is getting alittle better everyday.  Hopefully, that will continue on as the day fastly approaches. Welcome April.  I am fairly new here too.  Congrats on your date of 12/20, what a great Christmas present for you!  How old are your girls?  I have 3 boys, 13, 11 and 9 and a wonderful spouse as well.  (most of the time..LOL)

My girls are 7 1/2 and 10 months (bigggg suprise baby).  Thanks for the worm welcome. I agree with the most of the time part.

April welcome to the boards. Congrats on your surgery date. I will be having surgery right around that same time. I'm thinking about the 13th or 17th of December. I will know more next week.  I have one little boy who is 9 (Oh I guess that is not so little). The emotions that go with WLS is a bit of a roller coaster ride if you ask me. There is so much waiting involved that you really get that time to think it through. I think often is this the right thing for me and my family. But. I have always come to the same conclusion YES!  Wishing you the best on your journey and coming to peace with your decision.  Again welcome to the board and please keep us posted on your joureny.
