I have a date!!
Woooo Hoooo! I called my surgeon's office yesterday and asked them to go ahead and submit it to insurance. The nurse had said that I had to have 6 months consecutive weight loss doctor supervised. I called the insurance company myself to check and see. The customer service rep said she would send me the criteria (which I already had) and I said, "Whoa! No, ma'am... I need to know this NOW! I can't wait anymore!" So she took a few minutes and looked and said "No, it's just three months consecutive", which, thankfully, I already had!
SO... I called the doc, had them submit it about 10am yesterday. She called me at 3.15pm and said, "You're approved, when do you want to have it?" I was squealing like nobody's business!!! APPROVED!
So Dec. 11th I will receive the tool I have longed for for what seems like forever! I will finally have what I think I need to help me get healthy and live a more fulfilling life! I can't wait, ya'll! And what's so great is... I know that if anyone understands, you all do!!
