New to site and Need Prayers!

Hey, all... I am new to this entire website and am amazed at the help and support everyone gives! I wish I'd found it sooner!  I'm *hoping* to have RNY by the end of the year.  I should know something for sure by the end of next week and I'm so nervous I can't hardly stand it!  If everything goes well, they should be submitting everything to insurance the middle of next week and my insurance company usually lets them know something within 48 hours.  So, keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for the best!   Just wanted to say "Hi!" and I'm SO Thankful to be here!

Stacey, welcome to the boards. I'm kind of in the same boat as you. I will learn more this week about my process. I was told that this might be the week they submit my insurance. I too would like to have the RNY by the end of the year.

I will keep you in our prayers in hope that this is a smooth process for you.

I've certainly got you in my thoughts.  I'm 11 months post-op and can't imagine my life without having had this amazing surgery.  I'm down 175 lbs (with 91 more to go until goal) and have gained a new life.   I wish you all the best and feel free to ask me any questions.....I'm happy to give any details of my experience, good-bad and ugly!

Thanks, ya'll!  I'm going CRAZY trying to get the presurgery weight off of me!  I was on a roll in the beginning and now it's at a stand still.  I know I'm not exercising enough but it seems like with as little food as I'm eating it would be falling off.  NOT the case, though!  So frustrated!  I'll keep trying, though... I want you to do the same, hon!
