I'm Also New + My Surgery is Next Week!!!

Hi Everyone, I am also new to this board and usually lurk on the RNY main board.  I am having RNY next Tuesday, August 14!!! I can't believe it. I am 33, in decent health I suppose but I am nervous beyond belief now that the day is nearing.   I have a 1 year old son and I dont want to leave him and my hubby behind!:-( I know I am being dramatic and most of the time, I am rational but I just cant help myself!!!  My family is starting to look worried too.  Anyways, I just wanted to vent. I really appreciate anyone out there who can understand how I feel. Thanks, Maya

Thank you so much for the warm wishes. I am back home from the hospital. Surgery went fine but I did have a bit of fever and am pretty sore as well as very bloated.  I just hope I feel better soon! Maya
