Okay- Lurkers, I'm talking to YOU. Sometimes there are 102 people you look at a post. So, I think there are about 100 OHers in their 30's but we only have about 10 people who post or respond to posts.  We want to hear what you have to say! If the 30's board is more active, we all benefit. We are all in the same boat. We are all either considering surgery, had surgery, recoving after surgery or living new lives after surgery.  So, I'm saying it loud and proud, "Lurkers come out and play". Post, please! I was going to post a 'newbie' one, but just had not gotten to it. Thanks for posting the request Jenn! My name is Amy, I am 32, live in MN with my DH & 2 sons (5 & 3). Hoping to have lap. RNY but waiting on an insurance change in January to make that become a reality. Godspeed!

Ok,  I will post!  My name is Leann, I am from TX and I am 36 (i think, I always have to figure it out) Once you hit 21 who keeps track any more, right? Anyway,  I am scheduled for surgery on the 18th.  Still don't know what time yet and it is driving me crazy!!!!! Now that I know this board is here I will start posting more!!

I've posted before but not in a long time so I'll bite next.  My name is Collette I will be 30 (gulp) in august so I am close enough.  I just had lap rny on june 7th.  Back to work and doing great.

Well... as a matter of fact i've never been here before- but I do like the layed back atmosphere i  seem to be feeling!!  i am new within the last month or so to OH and am just really exploring as I go.  I think i'll be back though.  Francine

Hi I'm Kasey. 36 years old. Single mom of a wonderful 12 year old autistic son! Just north of Seattle.

I am looking at the lap band. Just switched surgeons so I am starting over with doctors but have all of my pre-op and insurance requirements completed.

Been a member of OH for a short time (2 weeks).  Getting my feet wet with support groups.

Hello, I just found this board, but I have been lurking for a few hours.   My name is Cindy and I am a pround single mom to an 8yr old boy, Tony.  I am an active Christian, I teach Sunday school every Sunday to 3rd and 4th graders.  I am mid-process waiting for surg. approval.  I meet with the psych on Monday.  I am having RNY hopefully lap. in probably Oct. if all goes smoothly.
