I Wish I was a Loser
I've had a really crappy last 4 or 5 weeks in every area of my life. On top of everything, I only lost 4 pounds this last month. I'm 3 months since being banded and I've lost 36 pounds. I know it isn't a competition but it seems like other banders are losing more. I just got my second fill and I'm increasing exercise so this will help. I need encouragement. Please, send me a cyber pep talk. -Jenn C. in Arizona
Hey JENN!!
I was wondering how you were doing? I am sorry you are having a rough time lately. I don't know anything about the lapband but if it makes you feel better I had many stalls along the way. The scale just wouldn't move and then BAM it would catch up with me. Its easier said than done because I am very guilty of this too, but try not to weigh every day maybe once every couple of weeks. I hope that things get better for you, try not to get down about it, follow your doctor's instructions and I'm sure you'll see the numbers start to come down soon. Sending you a big huge cyber HUUUUUGGGG, and lots of encouragement Let me know how you are doing. Wishing you the best!

Keep doing what you know you should and it will happen. You have a great tool and you need to work it girl!
Stalls are not fun, but they are temporary. Healthy will be forever if you stay focused. You can and will do this!
(I think I was speaking to me through you.) *sigh*
Let's get this party started Jenn!!!!
What can we do to motivate each other?
Summer goal setting anyone???? I joined in on the Labor Day deal someone was running on the Main Forum...I committed to 13 lbs by Labor Day ;)
Should we do something here????
Thank God for you all! You are such an encouragement. I had been exercising outside until the oven door opened here in Phoenix. 111 degrees aint no fun!
So, I finally moved indoors and did 45 minutes of treadmill and light weights in the gym today. Someone suggested audiobooks and I did that today. It made the time go faster. I'm also going to my local support group tomorrow. So, that will help!
My goal is daily exercise... I think I'm also going to start giving myself rewards for every 5 pounds. A pedicure or something.
I'm 36 six pounds down and I want to reach the 50 pound mark this summer. I think staying positive and motivated is the most important thing.
