Nip Tuck

I have been doing research on plastic surgery. I got the book "Body Contouring Surgery after Weight Loss" and I've been looking at before and after pics of people who've had post-WLS plastic surgery on-line. I'm only about 35 pounds down but I think I may want a plastic tune up when I reach my goal around January or February. What's the deal? I want a super honest discussion on the subject. What do you all think about post-WLS plastic work? Are you considering it? Comments... Questions...Rants....Wish Lists... Expectations.... Plastics--- Discuss!! Talk amounst yourselves!!! -Jenn C in AZ

Aside from my already ginormus bat wings, I had NO idea (still don't) how I would fair after the total loss. I'm a tad over half way and already KNOW my arms will be done. I may have to stand on the corner to afford it, but it will happen. Right now, that is the only part of my body that MUST go. I'm not working my butt off to loose this weight to have some flesh bags big enough to knock over a chunky todler! Aside from wings I am now FIXATED on two bumps on my face that must be removed :) They have nothing to do with WLS :) My main thought is that if it looks good IN clothes and I can fake it...I will keep it :) EXCEPT MY ARMS! ;)

I'll be on the corner with you. We could raise money that old fashion way or we could sing at a bus stop with a open guitar case or we could sell our neighbors stuff at a garage sale while they are away on vacation or we could dress up like girl scouts and sell crappy cookies that we buy at a 99cent store or we could go on the Price is Right...

I haven't had my wls YET, but I am already planning on having ps.  I will need a tummy tuck and panni and breast lift ( they will be covered by ins)  And finally a thigh tuck which I will have to be on the corner with you two as well.  Just let me know when and where! lol  I am totally for plastics but I will never get a face lift or stuff like that.

A girls gotta find some fun somewhere.

OMG! If I didn't think I'd eat the profits I LOVE LOVE the 99 cents store cookie idea! LOL I have to share a story. My husband and I moved to our town about 2 yrs. ago. Coming from Los Ang a town of 20k is SO strange to me. He is from TX so he at least has SOME experience in a smaller town. I'm still floored at some of what I see and hear. SO...the other night a kid comes to our door with a plate of three homemade cookies and plastic wrap KINDA on top. He's selling the cookies. He wanted a buck or something and my husband felt bad and bought 'em. He left them downstairs and assured me they looked like they were hard as rocks and said he'd take them to work. He was serious. Later that evening I of course had to check them. I moved the wrap aside and gave them a sniff. The aroma was to die for so I had to poke 'em. HARD? No, non-food addicted husband, they weren't hard they were crispy on the edges, soft center and would melt in your mouth! I COULD TELL! Seriously, get with it husband! I took one nibble and then dumped the plate in the trash. I was right and they could not stay in the house LOL Sorry, cookie tangent. Jenn started it :)

Plastics for me PLEASE!!!   I am 68 pounds away from goal, a panni is included as part of wls with my surgeon so when you reach goal you let him know and then they schedule you for a tuck, I would be covered for that.  The only issue is that its out of province and from what I am told its like 130-150 staples which means I would have to stay there for a couple of weeks the cost of flying there, hotel, time off work for me and my hubby..................etc.  I was thinking of perhaps doing a selfpay.  Is there room on the corner for me!!!  I can't sing but I can dance, salsa, meringue, and I can still do the running man!   For right now my arms would be the highest priority after the tuck, then maybe the girls.

roflmfao! I might pay YOU for the running man! INCLUDED?!?! I'm telling my surgeon he's cheapo! Not only did he use my old belly button piercing hole for surgery now he's not offering me a tuck! ;) Speaking of arms and the girls...sometimes I lay in bed on my side and hold my arm in the air...in my head it seems like they could slice my pit and tuck the wing in the boob. Mine reaches! (blah!) Doesn't that sound medically safe and sound? :D

LMAO!!  Have you ever done the boob test on yourself..........it was on Oprah you put a pencil under your boob and then lift your arms if the pencil falls you are perky.  I was good before WLS  - now after losing 120 for my own mental health I would NEVER GO THERE!   Its all good, a really good bra can make all the difference

Testing the girls - I haven't been perky since I was about 13.  I would definetly fail that test.  I can teach you to sing if you teach me to salsa!

A girls gotta find some fun somewhere.
