Post-Op Hot Air Balloon!

I got out of the hospital a week ago. The carbon dioxcide used to inflate your belly to separate organs was my biggest enemy. For 4 days after surgery, I felt like a giant helium balloon. My tummy was bloated & the pressure was VERY painful but it finally subsided yesterday. Today, I feel like I'm back to my old self. Did any of you have this wierd bloating from surgery? On a more positive note, it is incredible to have very little appetite! -26 lbs (after the 2 week pre-op liquid diet & 1 week post-op)

I am pre-op, but I have heard that the best remedy for this is to walk while flapping your arms like a chicken. lol  Sounds funny, but hey, if it works.... :
