Hello!!

Hi Everyone! My name is Melissa, I am 30 years old and had lap RNY on Dec 4 '06.  I have lost about 58 pounds since surgery but a total of 106ish.  I am glad to fine this site.  I post a lot on the main board and RNY board.  I am hoping to build some friendships here on the 30's board as I think we can relate to eachother pretty well being we are all so close in age and in the same stages of life.  I am glad I found this forum!  Hope everyone is having a good week, the sun is shining here and most of the snow has melted.  Bring on spring!  I look forward to chatting with you all!

  Hi Melissa, Nice to see you here.  Sorry to say but this forum is REALLY slow.  I still check it quite often because I wi**** would pick up, but if you are used to the Main Board and the RNY board you will be really shocked at how little people post here.  Being thirtyish must not be something lots of people feel very strongly about! Anyway, nice to see you around and congratulations on your continued success! Alison

Hi Melissa, This post is kinda slow, but I always check it.  Maybe we can get enough people interested.  I am 36 and had RNY in 2004.  I just became a member of the century club, I had a few emotional set backs that caused me to gain 60#s .  Now I am back on track and I promise, if you do what you are suppose to, you will not go through what I did.

Hey Melissa!!!! Welcome to the 30's board. Am having a pretty good week here so far. At least the weather has been nice. Saw some deer in the yard next door to ours a couple mornings ago. Have no snow here whatsoever. Spring has sprung, and I'm sure not looking forward to summer. Last summer was waaaaaaaaay too hot for me. Hopefully this year hubby and I will invest in an air conditioner. Lori

Hi Lori, I don't know how you live without air conditioning!!  I am hoping this year now that I am so cold after surgery, I will be comfortable for a change.  Have a good rest of the week!!

Hi Melissa! Ive seen ya on the  Main board but dont post there much. Nice to meet ya. Wtg on the 58 pounds! I bet it feels really good. The snow is almost gone here too. Im done with the cold lol.  I look forward to chatting more too.  Rachael
