This is great - there is a place for us in our 30's. I just wanted to stop by and introduce myself. My name is Stephanie and I am a 32 year old mother of 3, ages 14, 11, and 2. I had the Lapband done on 2/8/07. It has been great so far but I can't wait for my 1st fill so I have some restriction.

Well I hope to hear from some of you and I look forward to reading and conversing throughout this board.

Hi I just found this today. How are you doing with your band. Having issues with things getting stuck or are you remembering to chew chew chew??

Hi to you too. I was just banded on 2/8/07 so I have not had my first fill yet. I will be getting it on 4/6/07 and can't wait. I can eat just about anything - so unfortunately I have no restriction yet but am really looking forward to getting some. I feel like I am a cow chewing cud each time I sit down for a meal but that is okay because I find that I DO actually get full faster and eat less - If I only could stop being hungry all the time I would be great. It is nice to meet you. Steph

Nice to meet you Bella. I had the LapBand procedure done on February 8th of this year. I have been very happy with it so far. I do have my days though. So far I have lost about 20 pounds which I find is an excellent acheivement so far. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask. Hope to talk to you soon
